My name is Mark Sweeney, and I color comics.
I am currently coloring Warren Ellis' Black Summer, drawn by Juan Jose Ryp. Issue's 0 to 4 are out now.
Galleries are Flash based and scale to fit the size of your browser window.
I've updated an old tutorial on flatting, including a few new techniques. You can find it in the PDF Tutorials section.

In stores this week - Black Summer Auxiliary #4, if you missed out on the original printing.

I've added a new section for an accounting program I created to keep track of my income and expenses.
You can download the demo version from this page, which also comes with the PDF manual, and a demo file to use to check out the features of Mini Bookkeeper. The program is mac only, and works with Tiger and Leopard OS's.
In stores today - Black Summer #5, written by Warren Ellis, art by Juan Jose Ryp, colors by Mark Sweeney.
The Recent Work Gallery, Doktor Sleepless Cover Gallery and Black Summer Galleries have been updated as well.
PDF tutorials in the Tutorials section all require Acrobat Reader 8.0 or better to open - earlier versions of Acrobat reader do not work.

The Doktor Sleepless Cover gallery has been added, and the Recent Work Gallery, and Black Summer Galleries have been updated as well.
Bugs have been quashed, and the galleries should work properly in Firefox now.
Happy New year to you all!
Seems Dreamweaver is a little buggy, and broke a few links in the PDF Tutorials sections in the last update. The links are all working now. Just be sure to refresh your browser.
Added new work-in-progress video for the Black Summer #4 Auxilliary cover.
Added pages from Black Summer #4 to the Black Summer Interior Pages Gallery.
Update the entire site, optimizing code, and rebuilding the galleries so they no longer open in a new window. Added an Amazon e-store as well.
I've added another WIP video to the Video Tutorials section, showing a page from Black Summer #4.
I'll be making changes to this website, getting the content to look more like I want, so things will be a little fluid for a while.
I've added three new videos to the Video Tutorials. They're screen captures of Work-In-Progress for three different Black Summer covers. I am frequently asked, "How the &%^$ do you deal with a page like that?" These videos show an overview of how I approach a page, rather than specific rendering techniques
Fixed a problem with content not showing up in Firefox.
